This seminar provides participants with an overview of the concept of Total Quality Management and discusses the guidelines required for developing a tailor-made QMS essential for a company to improve and increase its competitiveness. The seminar is designed to provide a basic understanding of QMS based on the ISO 9001 Standard, its benefits, the documentation requirements of the standard and the auditing methods.

Upon completion of the training, participants will be able to:

• Describe the purpose of a quality management system
• Explain the eight principles of quality management
• Explain the purpose, content, and the requirements of the ISO 9001 standard
• Interpret the requirements of ISO 9001 in the context of an audit

Participants planning to complete any other QMS training, such as internal auditor and/or the Lead Auditor Training course, will receive considerable knowledge and understanding of the ISO 9001 upon which to build their auditing skills.

Additionally this seminar is suitable for anyone who wants to know more about a QMS based on ISO 9001, including students (graduate, post-graduate) and others.
